Speaking of Snark – oh you know you want to!

Snark – Giving a voice to the the feisty, straight talking beacon of authenticity within us.

Welcome to the Saturday Blog Party! This week’s topic is Snark. This means we are looking for everything and anything on the topic! Share posts or sites that inspire straight talk, authenticity or plain old snark fun. Share your challenges or fun with wielding a well planned barb, or your snarky take on, well anything! Literally Everything and Anything on the topic is welcome.

To get things started, I’ve picked three posts that speak beautifully to this topic:

An Open Letter To Michelle Obama – Snarky fun from possibly my new favorite blogger. Just Thrilled snark week had me find “Miss Snarky Pants and her “Humor Blog For Horrible People.” Click. You’ll love it too!

Is Snark Un-Christian? – This is a question that comes up for many Bliss Habits readers every time I delve into Snark. Episcopal priest Tim, get’s to the (possibly) unexpected answer when he share’s some of Jesus’s very own snark!

Twitter Snark and Early Cinema – I love Kelli Marshall’s Media Academia post for a few reasons… Her students are very fun and snarky, using twitter as a teaching medium is genius and I like the old movies tour! Super fun!

Here are the rules for this party:

  1. Share NEW and OLD posts on the topic. This is your chance to share your favorite posts. If they fit the topic and you think we could benefit it doesn’t matter when you wrote it. Wisdom is timeless!
  2. Share your’s and other’s posts! Ran across a timely tidbit? Let us hear about it too! When sharing someone else’s posts please designate this and  say submitted by using your name or blog name.
  3. Leave a comment after posting letting us know why you think the post is worth our time. We are building a knowledge library and your context makes it all the more valuable!
  4. Have Fun! I hope to make this party a fun and valuable addition to your weekend blog hopping.

I’m looking forward to visiting all the treasures YOU add to the collection!
Outrageous joy,
Kathy

P.S. Next week we will be “Speaking of Hope” and looking for posts that will foster this Bliss Habit!

Hope – The feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.
