Press Play and Breathe

This week’s habit felt so important that I thought I’d skip writing about it.

Instead, I invite you to PRACTICE REST.

I want you – yes, right now – to pause with me. (You set aside time to read this, so go ahead and use the next 2 minutes to actually practice!)

Get yourself comfortable (do a quick body scan to make sure nothing is pinched or tensed), then press play. Two minutes. You can do this.

Continue about your day, returning often to this sensation of restful space you just created within.

….Namaste.

Hi there! Kathy here. Ahhh, aren’t you feeling better after that!

I just thought I’d mention that this is the last week of that charity auction for my daughter’s school in which you can own one of Lisa’s signature encaustics!

Isn’t it amazing! Please go to the auction listing to get all the details and more photos of the beautiful work and see how you you can bring it home for yourself.

Thank you so much! I and everyone at the Mulberry School appreciate it!

XOXO Kathy

  1. Hah – I know! It seems so easy…heck, it is only 2 minutes. What I love about it (when we discover how hard it is…because we all do…) is that it shows us how used to running-going-doing-thinking we are. To pause for 120 seconds and just breathe logically seems simple, but in practice? Ah…. 🙂 (Thanks Kathy!)
