Welcome to BELIEVE week!
This week we take on one of the most magical of Bliss Habits.
There are so many things to believe in. When a child, as with Tamara’s daughter, it can mean Santa and all the daily miracles fairies and parents manage with magic like precision. As we grow we find in a whole myriad of things, as January finds:
Believe (we are this.)

I believe that the morning star
reminds of a promise
of constant rebirth,
of seasons and circles
and spirals of being
I believe that the
trust of a child
offers an innocent wisdom
and intense focus
found no where else
I believe that the
smell of clean sweat
earned with work
with this wondrous body,
seals in the lessons of
this day
I believe that the clouds
of sorrow we feel
for loss, fear, and pain
rain down tears
that cleanse the heart
where hope’s blossom
is ever ready to open
to love
I believe in music’s
vibrations of sublime
creation, in laughter,
or a beloved’s voice
that can soothe or move us
toward our highest ways
of being
I believe in silence’s
stillness and the deep
well of our collected
stories and art, our
unique expressions of
varied experiences and sensations,
quietude and peace
opening a new window
on the mirror of our being
I believe that the
natural world’s
beauty unfolding
displays a reflection
of divinity in the greenness
of growth,
in the loamy-rich potential
of un-becoming
in the peace of presence
I believe in the Love,
so freely offered to me
throughout my life,
leaves golden- threaded
connections that
cannot be broken
I believe in Life’s
determination to exist
that is bigger than I can
know,
vaster than can be proven,
more mysterious than
can be expressed or understood
I believe we are this, together
We are This.
Yes, even as we grow up, to believe is “more mysterious” than we can ever understand.
Believing is magical. Believing makes a difference. This week our Bliss Initiative is to believe in those things that make your life worth living. This week let us believe in good and magic and delight.
