Long time readers of Bliss Habits will recognize that I am re-sharing a past week’s Adventure party… Normally I wouldn’t do this but my sweet Sweetie is taking us away for a surprise family adventure and there are “no computers allowed!” Instead, please visit the Adventurers below and add new ones in a comment or in our linky.
Welcome to the Blog Party! This week we are talking Adventure. This means we are looking for everything and anything on the topic! Tips for finding and enjoying, stories of adventures planned or already taken,… literally Everything and Anything on the topic are all welcome.
I’m going to start things off by directing you to three posts I think speak beautifully on the topic.
Check them out and add your own finds in the linky below. Remember NEW and OLD posts by you and others are welcome, just tell us when you are sharing someone else’s work!
THAT TIME I FLED EGYPT… Okay, so I could have used almost any post from Sherri of All for Adventure‘s shenanigan filled blog, but come on! this title just begs to be clicked. Do it. You’ll be glad you did.
HOW TO HAVE ADVENTURES AT HOME – This happens to be totally useful post by guest blogger Kenzie of Chasing Happy. The host blog Lost in Travels is a place where you can collect inspiration and advice for your next adventure.
EVERYDAY ADVENTURES – In this expansive post, Tim Moss at The Next Challenge gives us “adventures that you can fit into your lunch break, squeeze out of your commute or manage on the weekend. These are adventures for everyone and the everyday.“
Here are the ground rules for this party:
- Share NEW and OLD posts on the topic. This is your chance to share your favorite posts. If they fit the topic and you think we could benefit it doesn’t matter when you wrote it. Wisdom is timeless!
- Share your’s and other’s posts! Ran across a timely tidbit? Let us hear about it too! When sharing someone else’s posts let us know that in a comment.
- Leave a comment after posting letting us know why you think the post is worth our time. We are building a knowledge library and your context makes it all the more valuable!
- Have Fun! I hope to make this party a fun and valuable addition to your weekend blog hopping.
Note: If you don’t have a blog to share, photos, ETSY collections and essays are most welcome. Let me know if you need help linking them up!
I look forward to visiting all the treasures YOU add to the collection!
Outrageous Joy,
Kathy
P.S. Next week we will be “Speaking of Mindfulness” and looking for posts and places that will foster this Bliss Habit!
MINDFULNESS –an attentive awareness of the reality of things, especially of the present moment; thoughtful, aware

Wow what an inspiring collection of articles Kathy! I’m stuck at a desk working on setting up a new website so I am a little jealous and hope you will share where your sweetie takes you on your adventure.
Hi Kathy,
I visited the post by “Chasing Happy” LOVE the title. Aren’t we always chasing happiness? She had some great ideas about creating adventures at home. I think I’ll do some of them … I appreciate the inspiration …
Kathy,
adventures are usually for the young like you.. I can just imagine your enthusiasm 🙂
I visited “HOW TO HAVE ADVENTURES AT HOME-CHASING HAPPY” because I could not resist reading about Chasing Happy :-0 I was surprised to find that it was so easy to chase happy.. I done it many times but I did not know I was chasing happy.. I named differently most times…
Great positive reading…
Thanks so much for sharing your greatness…
