“Laugh Caught” by Tamara Magnitsky

Welcome to Laugh week!

LAUGH – To show or feel amusement. To express with vocal noises certain emotions, especially mirth or delight

Ahhh, to laugh. Isn’t it a glorious thing? I particularly like it when a chuckle sneaks up on you and can’t be contained.  Both Tamara and January find laughter’s special gift is extra sweet when shared

The Best Medicine
by January Handl

I watch my daughter
bending over her daughter;
She kisses this tiny, new being on
her tummy, her toes, her arms
and a glorious giggle erupts
from a baby just learning to coo-
A blessed contagious delight
infecting us with joy.

So many of my warm memories
contain peals and pearls of
Laughter,
so many times in life
the absurdities, the surprises,
the incongruencies and mishaps,
leave me with a choice
between tears and titters.
Eventually I choose the chuckles
that connect me to the blessed
bounty of humor
to balance the road’s
harrowing experiences.
I try to offer that gift wherever
whoever, whenever
I can.
Always best when shared.

Yes indeed,  this “contagious delight” is particularly glorious when shared!

This week’s bliss initiative is to go forth and laugh! See how many ways you can do it. Seek out the things that bring a smile to your face. Watch a funny movie, tell a favorite joke, perhaps even keep a tally, give yourself an extra point every time you help someone else laugh. Try to “infect” as many as possible.

This week let us celebrate laughter. Let’s seek it, enjoy it and share it!

Anyone got a joke? 🙂

Amazingly written thoughts, completely agree with your stated points. To have a happy life, it is important to express our feelings, share love, happiness with our loved ones. Many doctors says to treat a disease, it is important for the patient to be happy, lead positive thought as well as to maintain social life that keeps our brain healthy and active. This is the reason many firms like orphanage, assisted living like http://jchcorp.org has made arrangements of laughing clubs to make living friendly.
