Here it is 3:29 in the morning of the day I planned to kick off my “Big 50th Birthday-apolooza” and I’ve got exactly nothing! Not one of the dozen or more posts I’ve tried to write, not one of the “great ideas” actually flushed out and ready to be delivered, not one of anything.
I really wanted to wow you. I wanted to make this the most fun you have ever had reading a blog. I had this funny idea that if I put together a list of 50 great life tips or epiphanies I’ve had over the years (or something like that) and rolled it all together with giveaways, balloons and possibly a little cake that this birthday of mine might be a catalyst for something great or at the very least, spread some joy and hope and happiness.
But it isn’t happening.
It is now 4:22. That little cursor keeps flashing, taunting me with the empty page that follows. I really have nothing.
I want you to be inspired. I want me to be inspired.
Now 4:38. Still nothing.
So NOTHING will have to do.
If you have followed this blog at all you know I LOVE a schedule. I have the rest of the year planned out. I like knowing what will be happening next, but today I don’t know what will happen next.
It is uncomfortable but I realize it is exactly where I need to be. From nothing comes everything and anything…
4:46 and I am letting myself be.
I do lots of photography with my fav being what I see on my bike rides. Sometimes I put Scriptures or other quotes with my photos. Would you be interested?
