Speaking of #Fun – Won’t you share some today?

Fun – An exercise or activity for amusement or recreation. Finding enjoyment and playfulness.

Welcome to the Saturday blog Party. This weeks topic is FUN which means we are looking for everything and anything on the topic.  Things you find fun, sites that promote fun, stuff you’ve tried and stuff you wish you had the courage to do. If you think it might be fun for others or it already makes you very happy please share it … literally everything and anything FUN is welcome!

I’ll start things off with three posts that I think speak beautifully on the topic:

How to Have Fun Like Children: 15 Joyful Tips– This is a marvelous Tiny Buddha (if you don’t already follow do rectify immediately!) post by Nat Nanton that will show you how “to put the fun in every day!”

Fun is Yours to Decide – Smart advice from Hector of Tipping Back. “Have YOUR idea of fun…Fun is subjective.  Just because someone else (or even the vast majority of people) likes something doesn’t have  any bearing on how you take to it.

Fun: Really Fun Things to Do– a terrific collection of fun stuff from Pinterest genius Dianne Hollister. Why haven’t I been using Pinterest to do this too! I particularly love the site that outlines weird stuff you are allowed to mail… flip flops anyone?

Here are the rules for this party:

  1. Share NEW and OLD posts on the topic. This is your chance to share your favorite posts. If they fit the topic and you think we could benefit it doesn’t matter when you wrote it. Wisdom is timeless!
  2. Share your’s and other’s posts! Ran across a timely tidbit? Let us hear about it too! When sharing someone else’s posts please designate this and say submitted by using your name or blog name.
  3. Leave a comment after posting letting us know why you think the post is worth our time. We are building a knowledge library and your context makes it all the more valuable!
  4. Have Fun! I hope to make this party a fun and valuable addition to your weekend blog hopping.

I’m looking forward to visiting all the treasures YOU add to the collection!
Outrageous joy,
Kathy
