A “Whimsical Wednesday” Introduction and Puzzle…

Today I am playing a whimsical game…

First here is a little puzzle for you to solve:

Fun right? Go to JigZone and make up your own and/or play their puzzle of the day.

Now notice that a Whimsical Weedy Sea Dragon (my personal favorite of the sea dragons!) is the mascot to introduce you to a terrific whimsical find.

Daniel T. Haase, Internship Coordinator & Adjunct Faculty at Wheaton College, has the most remarkably whimsical project happening over on his “for the love of lines” blog. Do go there immediately to bask in the whimsy!

Every Wednesday he is host to Whimsical Wednesday and folks are encouraged to submit their whimsical art work.

From that site:

Come see the submissions for this week and find out who will be the “Wizard of Whimsy” – submit your own creations or simply enjoy those of others.  The common human experience is suffering – sorrow and sadness mark much of the world. My invitation is to bring a bit of delight into the despair. I spend a lot of time with children and in turn they have taught me how to play. So, come and join the fun.

[This is where you join in — go here to link up!]

WEEK 23 (April 27 – May 3)

Add your post of whimsical OR wonder-filled creations (any medium new or old), submissions open until “Tally Tuesday” on May 3rd (1am-9pm US Central Time ~ come back then and vote for the week’s Wizard of Whimsy) only link individual post and not your whole blog (Click on the “add your link” and you can “crop” and then “select” your art) Please keep posts kid friendly.

[Take a look here at last week’s submissions! Fantastic!!  One of my selections (you get to vote for two) was the winner but honestly they are all so so whimsical and fun it was very hard to choose… what do you think? Who would you have picked?]

WEEK 22 (April 20 – April 26)

What a fun collection, huh?  You can check out all the other prior weeks on the web site as well. Even if you don’t want to share some of your own work, but of course I think you should, the visit will get your creative and whimsical juices flowing for days.

Have fun!
