Let us refresh our awe!

Welcome to Nourish week!

When we consider nourishment we likely think about food but this week let us go a bit deeper. The honeybee is eating but his (and our) full being is nourished with his comings and goings.

NOURISH – supply with what is necessary for life, health, and growth

Nourish

Yes! This week let us do the things that “refresh our awe!” Let’s nourish rather than eat. Let’s savor rather than taste. Let’s choose what our soul yearns for rather than putting our desires to the side.

This week we are nourishing every part of our body and soul.

How will you choose to do it?

  1. Hi Kathy, what a delightful poem but one that proves how easy it is to nourish ourselves with the simple things of life. I have had an easy method of nourishment since I moved away from city suburbia into a house on a hill with a sea view. Looking out of the window at the ever changing colors of the sea and sky is a sight that never fails to make me feel good. Last week two large trees in a neighbor’s garden, that obscured about a third of the view, were chopped back giving me a now interrupted view. I am in total awe of the view now. The novelty of it means that I find it hard to tear my eyes away. I have spent far too much time over the last few days just gazing out of the window.

No, no, not far too much time…there is no better way for our time to be spent than in “awe-ingesting” thanks for the comment and your offerings here.
