How to embrace the tender saplings of change

“Learning how to ride a bike!!” by Tamara Magnitsky

You’ve probably heard the old saying “If you’re not growing you’re dying” but for some reason we resist it. Tamara shares that her daughter was willing to bleed to gain the growth of balance and riding her bike. Do you think you are willing to “bleed” for your own growth?

January reminds us growth is all around us…

Veriditas
                                       by January Handl

You hear it,
Sometimes a windswept whisper
Sometimes a swallowing roar,

You see it,
Everywhere the circles and cycles
Everywhere spirals of color and movement

You smell it,
In the river’s green fragrance,
The forest and field in full flourish

You taste it,
In the tang of fruit’s full -ness
The salt of living waters

You feel it,
In the tug of restlessness
The pain of paralysis

You sense it,
In your heart’s wonder
In your passion’s persistent pulse

You yearn for it,
Stepping toward the next
Leaning toward change

Grow

Yes GROWTH awaits around every turn. So the question is will you embrace it?

Sometimes it is just easier to cocoon ourselves up in what has been rather then taking that determined next step to what is next. So what is next for you? What new things are calling your heart?

This is the week we embrace and invite the tender saplings of change.

How will you welcome GROWTH this week?
