Recently I have noticed many young people, in their 20’s, enjoying adventure and travel. They are travelling the globe and exploring the world. They seem fearless.

Perhaps they are. Perhaps they are a growing number of “new ones” on our planet who are fearless. I parent one of them. We have encouraged and supported him to “go for it”.

Life is too short, we tell him. Don’t settle for anything less than following your dreams.

And as I encourage him I have been led to reflect on my lack of adventure. To some looking in on my life, that may not be true. But if you aren’t trying the things that you have always dreamed about you aren’t having the grand adventure that we are meant to have on planet earth.

The Group has consistently relayed to me that this, planet earth, is the best playground in the whole universe. Things can be magical if you allow them to be.
Manifestation does not happen instantly, even though we would prefer that.

But, if we were able to manifest in a blink of an eye, it might not be so much fun. Where would be the adventure in the planning? The expecting? The what if’s? (Only in a good way of course)

It might not be quite as fulfilling as we had expected. Yawn, yawn…another house appears…. yawn…ooops an elephant in my yard-not quite what I meant!

So as you play on planet earth you get to focus your attention and course correct as you go along. Instant manifestation does not allow you to course correct quite as easily.

You would be focused on the elephant in your yard and not on the getting to the elephant. It is the journey that is the adventure. It is the planning that is the adventure. It is the suspense and the surprises that are the adventure as you direct your attention towards the next part of the adventure.

Are there plane tickets to buy? Hotels to book or backpacks to buy? Are you alone or with a loved one? Are you learning a new language or muddling along with your own?

Adventure lies within all of that and it also translates into your daily life. It might seem mundane to you but when we observe you live your life, muddling along as you seek to manifest your next desire, the adventure is apparent to us.

In your forgetting of who you are you have also forgotten that everything is an adventure if you but see with new eyes. You negate the most wonderful accomplishments because they seem mundane, but at a soul level they are not.

You may have nurtured for the first time the most wonderful relationship in all of your lives. You may be a parent for the very first time or perhaps the mother who stays at home in relative comfort rather than the father who ventures out to provide for the family or your roles are reversed!

Take this simple concept and the truth as we know it and expand it to everything that you are doing and being on planet earth.

The only thing we would suggest is that you focus upon the joy more. It was not meant to be ho-hum. There are things your heart is crying for and even though it may not be the adventure that you see some have it is indeed the adventure you wanted, as a part of your soul expression and expansion. There are many ways to get there and you dear ones get to choose.

The only question is; are you going for the joy?

  1. I have never equated travel with adventure, though I know people often do, Kathy.

To me, the most adventurous journey is the one you take within yourself, to understand your purpose and destiny and live a life of commitment that issues from that knowledge.

Mundane efforts carefully attended to comprise the greatest journey we can take.
