I stand on the brink,
the very crumbling edge,
the launching point,
the point of no return,
where earth, sea and sky
choose sides.
And though my knees tremble
and though my thoughts are
wildly scrambled
I know the next step
is the inevitable culmination
of all past moments.
I breathe in the measured
perfection of anticipation
the long wait/weight is over
as I step
as I leap
into the unknown.
Adventure is a state of mind. Allowing yourself to take that next step toward something you don’t already know or just allowing your self to look at things in new ways is your entry.
Trying a new food. Starting a new hobby. Considering a new point of view. Leaping when tip-toeing before. Looking in the dark spaces. Making a tough call. All of it, any of it can be an Adventure.
This week we are looking for and celebrating ADVENTURE. What will your’s be?
