Ignore At Your Own Peril

Living Bliss ~ Frost Field

Ugh.

A thwack upside the back of head delivered courtesy of the Universe.

I’m not Listening.

Again.

Or is that still?

Ping.

Turning the light at the end of the tunnel into a train is not what I intended.

Diversions were to be a thing of the past.

Yet there I was yesterday, diverting away.

Fully aware mind you, and continued on anyway.

Listen And Know Better

Enter the big guns –

upset stomach, loss of energy and dog-with-a-bone fervor.

All signals to grab my attention when I won’t mind any.

Just because I know better doesn’t mean I will.

I’ve been through this enough times to heed the escalation, a signal in itself.

Not Listening to the pokes, prods and whispers leads to increasing discomfort until full out illness takes hold – or worse.

No need to go near ugly. Time to step back.

Yup.

Today the stomach is pretty good.

As is the energy and brain fog (or lack thereof).

A toe dip into those diversionary waters this  morning was met with walking away.

Far too much to address and get going.

Especially after having some missing pieces fall into place this morning while brushing my teeth.

The signs are always there really.

Listening – a bit more of a challenge.

Hearing doesn’t guarantee understanding.

Or for one to take notice.

But to recognize the patterns and signals is a place to begin.

What they mean is ours to figure out.

More so acknowledge.

There is no sense in beating ourselves up.

Just because we heard in one instance doesn’t mean we’ll Listen in another.

This is a journey, an experience we’re on.

Blips, dips and potholes are guaranteed along the way.

We know more than we give ourselves credit for.

Remaining in ‘I don’t know’ has been an out now wearing thin.

We do know.

The question is not if, but when or how much longer.

Facing forward counts in the end.

Then steps.

Each success and failure leads us closer to who we really are,

and the Life beyond imagination that is ours to embrace.

Living Bliss is a jump-in-with-both-feet look at where Life bumps into the everyday – whether at work, play or times in between. Bliss knows no separation in the end. From a deeper dive into the ordinary pops forward the extraordinary life we search for – and has been there waiting for us to be.
