A trip to an aquarium is bound to get the Inquiry juices flowing! Tamara captures it beautifully in this photo that asks more questions than it answers. Look how big! How can they swim? They don’t even look real. It must be magic… I just love the wonder each thought carries as one tiptoes in worlds not normally seen.
My daughter also does this sort of thing in our yard, under a bush or rock, behind a leaf she discovers the worlds of bugs, rollie-pollies and snails. In the sky she sees birds, clouds, planets and stars. Every turn provides a new discovery and I just love to watch her curiosity grow.
January wonders:
What does your curiosity ask?
by January Handl
Curiosity killed the cat,
but satisfaction brought him back…
What does your curiosity ask?
Where does your wonder lead you?
What line of inquiry will lean toward
the truth,
and when do facts get in the way of
your deepest knowing?
Today I recall that all
answers lie within,
and the greatest teachers
I have ever known
left me deep lessons
with tantalizing, lingering feelings like
I am just remembering something
long forgotten…
Today I am knowing
that when I am knowing
I may not be leaving room
for the growing edge
that keeps me engaged
interested and alive…
Beautiful mind/heart meanderings
unknowing, unlearnings, un-doings
open space for
truer understandings
questions
answers
more questions
more answers
more questions
points upon the circular nature
of our unfolding
into the wholeness
of this existence
Yes, answers and questions unfolding all around!
Welcome to Inquiry week!
INQUIRY – a seeking or request for truth, information, or knowledge; study, scrutiny, exploration.
This is the week to get your curiosity flowing. What have you always wanted to learn? What do you enjoy talking and musing on? What oddities delight, what information do you seek? What would you like to discover?
Tell me, what does your curiosity ask?

Tamara and January are here each Monday to help set the mood for the week!

I LOVE this question!
I was born with a curious mind and have always loved to ask questions – it’s a never-ending quest to find the “more” out there.
This past weekend, I went hiking and along the way kept coming across something I had never seen before. It looked like a group crysallis with hundreds of caterpillars crawling in and around a silk structure. I spent the entire hike fascinated by this … could hardly wait to come home and research it!
I feel grateful that we have such easy access to information. If I wonder something random like “What do ladybugs eat?”, I can find the answer almost instantaneously!
Now I’m curious to know what other people get curious about…. 🙂
Janet, thank you so much for stopping by… and for getting me curious about those caterpillars too!! Where were you… what were they?!
I’m also curious what other people get curious about too! In fact I will ask that very thing over on our facebook page tomorrow!!
